Fair Horsing Around

There was a fair bit of horse play at the fairgrounds Sunday night. The horse show and riding competitions drew a crowd, some on horseback, some in truck beds and some with chairs on the ground.

With a smile on the rider’s face and a big-eyed expression on the horse, this rider made it through the polls in good time with no faults. The class was a training class to get horse and rider prepared for competition. PHOTO | Greg Wells
Class sizes through the night range from 3 to 30 as individuals from nearby counties as well as Tennessee came to participate in a fair tradition.
