Voting: What to Bring — Where To Go

When you show up to the polls next Tuesday, or to Early Voting, you need to bring along your state issued photo ID, Driver’s License or college identification said County Clerk Bryan Morgan. He said such forms of identification are required, and that the previously allowed bank cards are no longer allowed for identification, though a Social Security Card still is. Any eligible registered voter may vote at any polling place Election Day.

Early Voting, 14-16 May, will be in the Burkesville Fire Department’s Training Hall, off Mill Street behind the firehouse, Upper River Street. Hours for early voting are 8am — 4pm, and any registered Republican or Democrat may come in and vote there, no excuse needed.

Behind the Fire Station and the remains of the old city hall, not the smoke tower, but the training room, is where to go for Early Voting.

The Central Polling Location in Cumberland County is the Ray Mullinex Center, (Fairboard building) on Upper River Street on Election Day.
