Lady Panthers Even Last Week

Lady Panther Jordyn McDonald put her all into a shot on net in last Friday nights game against Metcalfe County.
After bringing home a three and oh winning record the previous week, Cumberland County’s Lady Panthers were one and one last week.
They started things off with a 38-61 victory when they visited Casey County on February 3.
Friday’s home game however saw Metcalf County edging out the lady Panthers 44–41.
As this week starts that means in this district play the records are Metcalfe County is 8-1, Cumberland County 6-3, Russell County 3–4 and Clinton County 0–8.
As of Monday, the score sheet was unavailable for the Metcalfe County game.
In the Casey County game, the Lady Panthers hit 1/3 of the three-point shots they took and were 44.3% overall and 30% at the free-throw line. For rebounds the team pulled down 46 total.
The overall scoring leader was Keagan Walden with 22 points followed by Abby Morgan with 13, Kenzie Willen with 10, Madi Cooksey with 9, Aubrey Alexander with 4 points and Haley Sterns scored 3.
In three-point shooting Willen and Stearns were both 100 percent.
Cooksey was the top rebounder with 15, followed by Willen with 12 Morgan with 11, Walden with 3, Aubree Alexander and Jordyn McDonald with 2 each, while Macy Bradshaw pulled down one.
