Lady Panthers Fall to Lady Hornets

The Lady Panthers fought hard, but came up short to the Metcalfe County Lady Hornets in the first round of the Class A. The Lady Panthers hosted the Lady Hornets on Wednesday, Jan. 7.
The Lady Panthers ran plays, drove in the paint, got many rebounds, and played aggressively. As the game went on, however, the Lady Hornets took control and did all the little things well, resulting in the Lady Panthers falling behind.
The final score was 52-63. Stats were not posted before deadline. Jordyn McDonald and Madi Cooksey were awarded to the Class A All-Tournament Team. Also, Jordyn McDonald received an award for the All A Classic 4th Region All-Academic Team. The Lady Panthers will face the Lady Hornets again Friday, Jan. 16.
